A Garden of Delight

The most delightful sign stood in the rose garden.

It welcomed and was quaint.

As a matter of fact, the whole garden was quite enchanting.

It spread out behind an elderly housing complex in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

There were many simply breathtaking flowering plants in a startling variety of shapes and sizes.

Such a terrific setting has to make visitors and residents feel totally at peace.

WHAT ASPECT MAKES A GARDEN LOVELY TO YOU?

This is just so beautiful, Susan. I am so happy to know that they have gone to such lengths to make the elderly folks there have such a wonderful, peaceful setting in which to live. It was SO wonderful seeing you had stopped by my blog. You are always such a welcome blessing to me. God bless you abundantly in return!

oh I love the different colors in a garden. To think that those people there have that beauty to see on a daily basis is wonderful. I'm so glad I got to see it in person too!

I agree with Diane .....the color was striking. Also the variety was amazing. I like the intoxicating smell of some flower varieties. I always look at the flowers because I have aways loved what they do for my spirit.

The gardens look lovely; sorry I had to miss that trip.

I do like a rather casual looking garden with touches of whimsy and anything with roses makes it a favorite.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the gardens there.

I like all these elements and the seniors who live them must have lots of smiles when they see this beauty and the sign. My post today is about a nursing/retirement home I visit and they have a central courtyard with beautiful plants and chairs and a gazebo.
